SumoBots Robotics

SumoBots is an engineering based robotics competition. Unlike other robotics competitions, SumoBots are controlled by the student using a playstation controller. Having the students control the robots takes the focus off of coding and highlights the engineering aspect of robotics.

We offer two SumoBots tracks: learning and competition. In the learning track the students learn engineering principles and build using a classroom kit to compete with their classmates. Competition track students meet weekly to build and test their designs using their own kits.
