Tuition-Free International Summer Program for High School & College Students – Parent Included!
The Center for Future Innovators (CFI) is thrilled to announce a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for high school and college students: the 2025 International STEM Summer Camp in Beijing, China, hosted by the Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT). This tuition-free experience is offered through CFI's Global Engagement Division in partnership with BUCT and China’s Ministry of Education.
From June 8–21, 2025, selected students will explore science, culture, and leadership alongside global peers while immersed in the heart of China’s capital city.
Program Highlights
The camp offers an unforgettable blend of academic enrichment and cultural exchange:
STEM lectures from world-class scientists
Hands-on lab experiments in state-of-the-art university facilities
Cultural workshops such as Chinese calligraphy, traditional festivals, and martial arts
Sightseeing tours to iconic sites like the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, and the Forbidden City
Full room and board at the BUCT international student dormitory
Travel insurance is provided for both the student and one accompanying parent
Eligibility and Costs
This exclusive program is tuition-free for admitted students and one parent. Participants are selected based on academic merit and a demonstrated interest in STEM and leadership.
To be eligible, students must:
Be a U.S. high school or college student (GPA 3.0+)
Demonstrate a strong interest in STEM and global citizenship
Complete a Zoom interview with the GECFI team
Families are responsible only for the $600 international student management fee, round-trip airfare, visa application, and personal expenses.

The Daily Experience in Beijing
From conducting chemistry experiments to exploring ancient heritage sites, each day of the camp is thoughtfully planned. Students will visit the China Science and Technology Museum, practice Chinese martial arts, and connect with BUCT students for shared lab experiences.
