CFI Level Up Ceremony – A Celebration of Student Innovation

At CFI Robotics NFP, we believe that every student’s progress should be celebrated. Not just in competitions, but in their personal growth, creativity, and confidence. That is why we host our Level Up Ceremony. It is a celebration of the work our students have done in building, coding, and exploring STEAM.

This month’s ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, May 25, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the CFI Bridgeport Robotics Center. Everyone is welcome to attend, and both the ceremony and prep day are completely free.

Presentation Prep Day – Saturday, May 24 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM

All students who want to present are invited to join us the day before the event for Presentation Prep Day. We will provide trifold display boards, poster-making supplies, and help from our coaches. Students may also choose to prepare their presentation materials at home.

Level Up Ceremony – Sunday, May 25 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM

The ceremony is open to all CFI students and families. This is a fun and friendly event that feels like a science fair. Students will showcase the projects they have worked on in Open Lab, coding, robotics, and 3D printing.

Students who have completed six or more Open Lab projects will officially Level Up, unlocking access to new advanced challenges and receiving a special trophy.

• Level Up certificate presentations for students moving to the next rank

Why It Matters

At CFI, we teach our students that presenting your work is just as important as building it. Most robotics competitions include a judged presentation section that counts for just as many points as the technical work.

The Level Up Ceremony helps students build the communication skills they need to succeed in STEAM fields. It also gives new and prospective families a chance to see what our programs are all about.
