About Our After-School Programs
CFI Robotics NFP is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides hands-on robotics, coding, and engineering programs for students. Our after-school classes take place immediately after the school day and are led by trained CFI instructors, with support from certified school staff when applicable. Programs are designed to be engaging, structured, and accessible for students with a wide range of experience levels.

What students learn
​Students develop foundational engineering and problem-solving skills through hands-on projects, including:

Mechanical concepts such as gears, pulleys, and simple machines

Coding block-based programming tools (WeDo Robotics)

Design thinking through planning, testing, and improving solutions

Collaboration and teamwork in small group settings
Daily structure

Welcome and topic preview: 5 to 10 minutes

Build and code: 40 to 45 minutes

Wrap up and clean up: 5 minutes
